Mission Statement for the Church Cleaning Ministry

The purpose and mission is to clean the church weekly and house clean biannually. This is accomplished through teams of volunteers from the parish. These teams are comprised of 5-8 volunteers. They meet weekly on Wednesday in the am. It is our hope to save the parish some expense by not having to hire an outside agency to do routine vacuuming, brass polishing, dry mopping between pews, dusting, cleaning windows, and dry mopping the narthex on a weekly basis.

Presently, four crews rotate this duty. Two crews work Wednesday mornings after Mass, one Wednesday Evenings, one on Thursday afternoon. The Cleaner's of God's House make it sparkle, but they receive an inner sparkle — the joy of giving!
