In September 1997, Seven Sorrows began the SCRIP program. SCRIP is a gift certificate or card that can be used instead of money when making purchases at participating stores, restaurants, etc. Lists of participating stores and order forms are available through the school or at the SCRIP table in the Narthex of the church.



Seven Sorrows purchases the SCRIP gift certificates at a reduced price and sells them at face value, thus making a profit. The SCRIP program is an on-going funding program. The proceeds from the SCRIP Program provide the monthly coffee and donut socials and many other services through the parish. Orders are taken weekly. Volunteers are needed to sell SCRIP after all masses.
