Welcome to Seven Sorrows School! Our Middle States Accredited school
is faith-based and future driven! Our new building, with innovative
computer and science labs, bright classrooms and colorful hallways,
invites students to learn.
Each day, our entire student body
and faculty meet in the gymnasium for morning prayer. We become a united
school family as we pray special intentions for those who suffer from
illness, lost jobs and deployment to war. We celebrate academic and
athletic achievements and birthdays. Morning prayer develops our
Catholic identity and gives the faculty and students an energy that
lasts throughout the day.
Our school has a working
relationship with the community of Middletown. Our students give
generously to charitable projects that help the Food Bank, the
Morningstar Pregnancy Service, and the nursing homes in the community.
People know that when Seven Sorrows School is involved, the mission will
be accomplished.
The generosity of our students stems from
generous parents. Parents and Teachers Together (PTT) is an active
parent organization that provides support to our school from purchasing
computers to planning assembly programs to volunteering in the
classrooms. Parent involvement is vital to student success.
Our
school family is indebted to our parish family for the sacrifices they
continue making for our new building. Students show their appreciation
for parishioners’ contributions by excelling in regional and national
competitions in science, math, and writing. Special intention prayers
are offered for parishioners, and they are kept current about school
events. Seven Sorrows students practice their faith!
